I teach social psychology, community social psychology, psychosocial intervention design, and quantitative research methods. I prefer active methodologies and explore effective pedagogical designs that address the challenges of teaching in times of AI.

First-year course, basic cycle. It shows why psychology needs a social dimension to understand behaviour: how behaviour and mental processes change when a person is with others, thinks about others or believes others are present. It asks for reading controls in class, two tests, a group project in three deliveries on an English-language social psychology text, and an exam.
Second-year course. Origin and history of community social psychology, its concepts, approaches and procedures, and the areas in which it intervenes, in six units from the community phenomenon to strategies for action and change. It asks for reading controls, two tests, an essay and a final exam. AI use in assignments is declared and accompanied by evidence of the process.
Fourth-year course, taught as service learning. Students design, launch a first stage of, and evaluate an intervention that answers a mental health need identified in an institution or community partner, and return the result to the partner. The group report is submitted first and then defended in writing, in the room and without devices: the assumption is that students will use AI for the document, and what is verified is that they master what they produced with it.
Descriptive statistics for psychology, no prerequisites. Theoretical and practical foundations for telling stories with data and solving concrete problems: labs in R, a mandatory online R course, controls, two tests, a group report in APA format, and an exam.
Upper-level methods course, with Quantitative Methods I and II and Qualitative Methodology as prerequisites. Design of data collection instruments, from the survey as a process to the questionnaire as a form: ethics of measurement, sampling, questionnaire adaptation, cognitive interviewing, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis. It asks for reading controls, two tests and a group technical report on a psychometric instrument, in which using AI to produce or analyse ideas counts as plagiarism.
